Amarilli Nizza
Amarilli Nizza (born January 4, in Milan) is an Italian operatic soprano.
Nizza is the descendant of the soprano Medea Mei Figner (Florence - Paris ).
This one was also the poetical inspiration of Cajkovskij, who composed for her and her husband, the tenor Nikolaj Figner, La Dama di Picche () and Jolanta () performed at Marijnskij theater in Saint Pietersburg
Since she was a little child she started to study piano and singing with her grandmother Claudia Biadi.
In she won the competition Mattia Battistini and debuted in Madama Butterfly (as Cio-Cio-San) by Puccini at Teatro Flavio Vespasiano in Rieti. After a series of young experiences, in Amarilli Nizza started to be internationally in the spotlight by mainly performing the great Italian opera repertoire.
